Adding Contacts to Engage
When adding a new student please adhere the following;
Please Ensure that the following fields are populated in engage.
- Surname
- Firstname
-
Class Type Indicator (This is a drop down list for GradYear)
- Year Group
- Form
-
Pupil Code (Firstname + First Initial of Lastname + GradYear)
- Email
-
Specialist Group (This can be found in the additional Information Tab)

House* (This is only required when they are a Multiage Student, or a Year 11 or 12 Student)
This is the minimum information that is required.
If this information is not present then the process will not work until it has been updated.

3, Class type – Grad2018
4, Year Group - Year 12
5, Form - Y12 Advisory 1
6, Pupil Code - fraserk2018
7, email – fraserk2018@365.silkwood.qld.edu.au
8, Specialist Group - 2
9, House - Year 11/12 Advisory 1
Note the email is always the Pupil Code followed by @365.silkwood.qld.edu.au
As soon as this information is in engage and the student is in current pupils the system automatically (Every 4 hours) creates the account for this user.
NOTE: If you miss spell anything in Engage or use the wrong Grad Year, This Information will replicate into all Systems and is a lengthy process for IT to fix, So please make sure you enter the CORRECT Information.
Once Entered into Engage, You will need to then log a normal job with the user name and Grad Level.
