Pin OneDrive Folders in Engage Desktop Client
To save documents from within Engage to your OneDrive folder within Engage you need to navigate to the correct location within the Remote Desktop Connection. This can be time consuming and it is much quicker to create shortcuts to folders by pinning them to the Quick Access section.
To do this you first need to navigate to the File Explorer from within Engage.
- Open the Pupil grid within Engage (any stage)
- Click on Export
- Right click on the Network > tsclient > \\tsclient\C folder and choose Open in new window
This will now open the File Explorer navigation. From here we can create the shortcuts to folders so they are easily accessible when you are saving from Engage.
- Go to Network > tsclient > \\tsclient\C > Users> (your username). This may take a bit to load all your folders
- Open OneDrive-Silkwood School
- From here, right click on any folder that you want accessible and choose Pin to Quick Access
- Repeat with any more folders
- Once you have finished close the File Explorer and cancel out of Save As.
- Next time you save a report or export file, your folders will be available under Quick Access.
